Texas State Historical Assoc. online store is a great place to find Rymer prints! Organized in Austin on March 2, 1897, the Texas State Historical Association is the oldest learned society in the state. When you purchase a Rymer print through TSHA, you are helping fund this organization (home to the Texas Almanac and countless other literature offerings, as well as historical maps). Right now through Dec. 10, any print purchased will also get you a free package of the new 2013 Christmas cards. Visit http://shop.tshaonline.org/Tamara-Rymer-By-Artist-Fine-Art/b/5761611011 and thank you!

March 15- 17, 2012 are the dates for the upcoming art show, The Russell. This show is a fine art exhibition and three day fundraising event and activities begin Thursday evening. Here you will see one of my art pieces titled, Spirit Dance, a 22″ x 28″ oil.
I am always artistically inspired by the culture of the Native Americans, and hope to honor them in the works I create. To view the artworks of The Russell and Spirit Dance, online go to: http://cmrussell.org/the-russell – you do not need to be present to bid.
Painting Native Americans is something I take seriously. To receive the Best Native American Award for one of my paintings called “Drum Dancer” is a big honor. Thank you Wind River Casino for sponsoring The Heart of the West Invitational Art Show in Wyoming!

I am very pleased to announce that I have been elected to Signature membership of the American Plains Arts. This is such a hugely talented group of artists that just to be rubbing shoulders with them is quite an honor. Please visit their website to view some of their extraordinary shows: www.americanplainsartists.com.
